Terms and Conditions

Flipsight VZW is a Belgian non-profit association, vereniging zonder winstoogmerk / association sans but lucratif, based in Antwerp, Belgium.

Our products may include vinyl records, limited editions, artworks, prints, merchandise, collector objects and related digital or physical extensions.

We do our best to describe every product as accurately as possible. Images, colours, dimensions and finishes shown on the website are intended to be as faithful as possible, but small differences may occur due to screen display, printing, production, framing, canvas stretching or manual finishing.

For limited editions, edition sizes are mentioned where relevant. Availability is always subject to stock or production capacity.

All prices are shown in euro and include 6% Belgian VAT unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are calculated during checkout and are shown before the order is confirmed.

For orders outside the European Union, import duties, customs fees, local taxes or handling fees may apply. These costs are not included in our prices or shipping rates and remain the responsibility of the customer.

An order is only confirmed once payment has been received and the product is available or accepted for production.

Flipsight VZW reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in case of obvious pricing errors, stock errors, suspected fraud, incorrect customer details, delivery restrictions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Backorders are not accepted as a standard rule, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

For artworks, prints and made-to-order art objects, the shipping cost is €15 per order, unless otherwise stated.

Local pickup may be offered during selected Flipsight events, exhibitions or agreed pickup moments in Antwerp. Pickup is only possible when confirmed by Flipsight.

We currently do not ship to the United Kingdom or to countries with complex, restricted or unreliable customs or delivery conditions.

Vinyl orders are normally shipped within 48 hours after payment, provided the item is in stock and no exceptional circumstances apply.

Artworks, prints and canvas works are made to order. Production, finishing, quality control and packing take time. Please allow 5 to 10 working days before dispatch. This is a production estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.

Delivery times shown on the website or in emails are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, strikes, force majeure, incorrect delivery details, failed delivery attempts or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We pack all orders with reasonable care. The risk of loss or damage passes to the customer only where legally permitted. For consumer orders, Flipsight remains responsible for the goods until delivery, as required by applicable consumer law.

The customer is responsible for providing a correct and complete delivery address. If an order is returned because of an incorrect address, failed delivery or refusal to accept the parcel, additional shipping costs may be charged before resending.

Many Flipsight products are limited edition collector objects. Some products may include a unique personal code, collector code, claim code or digital extension.

The customer is responsible for keeping any personal code safe. Flipsight is not responsible for loss, misuse or unauthorised use of a code after delivery, unless caused by Flipsight’s own proven fault.

If a code has been activated, claimed, linked to the customer or otherwise personalised, the related product may no longer be eligible for return where legally permitted.

Artworks, prints, canvases and similar art objects are produced specifically after the order is placed. These items are made to order and may be produced, printed, stretched, finished, numbered or otherwise prepared specifically for the customer.

Because of this made-to-order and/or personalised nature, these products cannot be returned or cancelled once production has started, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect the customer’s legal rights in case of damage, defect, incorrect delivery or non-conformity.

Consumers in the European Union may have a legal right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days after delivery.

However, this right does not apply, or may be refused, for products that are made to order, clearly personalised, custom-produced, activated, claimed, unsealed where relevant, or otherwise linked to the customer, to the extent allowed by applicable law.

For standard non-personalised products that are eligible for withdrawal, the item must be returned unused, undamaged, complete and in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are at the customer’s expense, unless otherwise required by law.

If an item arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us at studio@flipsight.be within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include:

• your order number
• clear photos of the product
• clear photos of the packaging
• a short description of the issue

We will review the case and, where legally required or reasonably appropriate, offer repair, replacement, partial refund, full refund or another suitable solution.

Do not return an item without contacting us first. Unannounced returns may be refused or delayed.

Eligible returns must be sent back only after written confirmation from Flipsight.

Returned items must be properly packed. The customer is responsible for damage caused by poor return packaging, unless the return is organised by Flipsight.

Products that are used, damaged after delivery, incomplete, personalised, made to order, activated, claimed or not returned in their original condition may be refused or only partially refunded, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

All artworks, designs, images, logos, names, texts, concepts, release visuals, product visuals and related creative materials remain the intellectual property of Flipsight VZW and/or its licensors, artists or creators.

Buying a product does not transfer any copyright, trademark right, reproduction right or commercial usage right to the customer.

The customer may not copy, reproduce, scan, mint, resell as a digital asset, commercially exploit, modify, distribute or use the artwork or product design without prior written permission from Flipsight or the relevant rights holder.

Some Flipsight products may include a digital extension, claim code, collector code, NFT or similar digital feature.

These elements are offered as cultural or collector-related extensions, not as financial products or investments. Flipsight does not provide investment advice and does not guarantee any financial value, resale value, future market, compatibility, platform availability or long-term technical access.

The customer is responsible for their own wallet, account, private keys, passwords and digital security. Flipsight is not liable for loss of access caused by user error, third-party platforms, wallet issues, blockchain issues, phishing, hacking or loss of credentials, except in case of Flipsight’s own proven intentional fault or gross negligence.

Flipsight VZW is a small independent non-profit association and operates on a best-efforts basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flipsight is only liable for direct damage caused by its own proven fault. Flipsight is not liable for indirect or consequential damage, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of enjoyment, emotional damage, reputational damage, loss of data, delays, carrier issues, customs issues, third-party platform issues or technical interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.

Flipsight is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, transport issues, carrier delays, customs delays, supplier delays, production issues, illness, fire, technical failures, power outages, cyber incidents, government measures, extreme weather, war, pandemics or other unexpected events.

In such cases, our obligations may be suspended for as long as the situation continues. We will communicate with the customer and look for a reasonable solution.

Please describe the issue clearly and include all relevant information. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe. Because Flipsight is a small association, response times may vary during events, release periods or production periods.

These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

Any dispute will first be discussed in good faith. If no solution can be found, the competent courts of Antwerp, Belgium will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

These Terms are intended to be clear and fair while protecting Flipsight VZW as a small independent cultural association. They do not affect mandatory rights that customers may have under applicable consumer law.
